| A couple years ago our youngest daughter Eleni, found out that she could do rabbits as a 4-H project and pressed us with enthusiasm to explore it. As a youth breeder I, Eric had raised Rex rabbits so we headed to an ARBA show to find quality rabbits. We met several breeders most notably Soni Jager who gave us our start. After some consideration we all agreed that we wanted to make a family project out of the rabbits. It has proved to be a wonderful experience that we have enjoyed together. Lots can be shared as a family from grooming and showing to spending Sunday afternoons cleaning out the barn. We have a great time traveling to shows and working together. We owe thanks for the great starts for our program to Soni Jager, Gavin Dinnel, and Dae Williams who has provided us with wonderful rabbits that are used in our blacks and otters. |
